I won't lie. That hurt bad. Real bad. And even though I promised Kibbs I would never cry whilst giving a team talk, I came mighty close on Saturday after we'd seen a game we deserved to win, slip away from us in heartbreaking fashion. Before playing Brentwood, we were two points clear of the 2's with three games remaining and although defeat against Brentwood sent even George's massive brain into over-drive, as we arrived back in the safety of the borough of Hammersmith & Fulham, it suddenly dawned on him that we weren't out of it at all and that in fact the league title was still very much in our hands.
