Saturday's performance was the kind that gets my girlfriend's juices flowing. We used the ball well, didn't panic in possession, communicated superbly, constantly gave each other passing options, were physically superior, good in the air, took our chances, assured and conservative at the back and ALMOST didn't concede! That's exactly what I asked for before the match and exactly what you did and exactly how we need to play all season. We pressed them high up the pitch, making life very difficult for them in all areas of the park. Jacko, Rich, Kibbs and Alex all took their goals nicely and were supported superbly all afternoon by Frenchy, Dolly and Ben Moss. The back seven also did a great job, particularly Wilko ad Ben Ryder-Smith. Apologies to Steve and JCB - you didn't have much to do in that 2nd half but I was very impressed by your patience and discipline and it was great to have James Moss back and playing after so many injuries last season. George - make sure you get to bed before 6am next time (but well played all the same x) and Jenks, although you only had to make one save, it was a belter.
